Hydraulic Valve Repair
Hydraulic valves decide where oil goes and how much pressure it has. When a function works in one direction but not the other, drifts, responds slowly or doesn't respond at all, the problem is often a valve. Mondak diagnoses control valves, spools, solenoids, relief and port reliefs, load-holding and check valves, and pressure settings. Contamination is a common cause of sticking spools and leaking checks, so we look at fluid condition too. We test the signal and the hydraulic side before replacing a valve.

THE MONDAK APPROACH
Diagnose first. Repair with purpose.
For electric valves, we check the signal and coil first. For hydraulic issues, we test pressures at the valve ports. Drift gets split between valve leakage and cylinder bypass. Contamination is checked before replacing valve parts.
Solenoid and signal checks and pressure testing can often be done on site. Valve disassembly and cleaning are best done in the shop.
