We measure before we replace. Pressure and flow tell us whether the pump is weak or the problem is downstream. Heat and case drain point to internal leakage. Aeration or cavitation often start at the suction side. Contamination is checked too, because a new pump in dirty oil won't last.
Hose failures and pressure and flow checks can happen on site across our mobile service area, including through our resident field technician in the Dickinson area. Component teardown, bench work and cylinder resealing are done in the Glendive shop.
