THE MONDAK APPROACH
Diagnose first. Repair with purpose.
Crane functions are protected by holding valves and control logic, so a function that won't move is not always a hydraulic failure. We check the control signal and interlock status first, then measure pressure at the circuit in question. Holding valves and cylinders are tested for leakage before anything is replaced, and mechanical wear is measured rather than eyeballed.
Hose, control and outrigger issues can often be diagnosed where the crane is set up, including Dickinson-area work handled by our resident field technician. Swing drive, cylinder rebuilds and extended electrical tracing are better done at the Glendive shop.
